CZ 455 Bolt problems.
« on: September 09, 2014, 02:24:19 PM »
I bought a new CZ 455 10 days ago, and from the first day I have had a problem of the bolt coming straight out of the action without having to release it via the trigger.  :(

I have seen a few references to this on other forums, but I haven't been able to find out if there has been a successful fix for this problem.

Has anybody here had this problem, and if so, how was it resolved?

It is the .22lr varmint rifle.

Old enough to know better, but too old to care.

I contacted CZ-USA via email earlier this year about a similar situation. The bolt would often come straight out of the action after the trigger was pulled (live fire, dry fire with snap cap, or firing pin released by pulling trigger while closing the bolt) on the next time the bolt was cycled. They had me send it in for a sear change. So far, it appears to have been fixed. Email customer service at warranty@cz-usa.com with a description of your problem.
