Anyone have their Kadet kit on their RAMI?
« on: November 24, 2014, 11:28:05 PM »
Hello, I have a newer 2075 D model RAMI, attempted to fit the Kadet kit on it, and am finding that with the kit installed the slide of the kadet will not lock back on an empty magazine.

I also noticed that using the supplied Kadet slide stop wasn't fitting too well.  I have seen Kadet kits on 2075s here and there, wondering if there is a special trick to getting it to fit/function.

FWIW, I have not "fitted" the kit, or filed anything to fit other guns. It just seems to fit my other 75s no problem.

Other than that, I like the RAMI...would be really cool to get it to shoot .22  :D

Never thought of using it on my RAMI, it is probably the slide stop. I know I had to call CZ when I put it on my P-01 and they sent me a PCR slide stop.

RAMI safety model using Kadet slide stop on Kadet 2 kit and four different CZ magazines. Kit and slide stop both fit well; with manual cycling -

Slide would not lock back the first 3-4 times with two different magazines and then it did. However, it would not stay locked back when the magazine was removed. Then I started trying two more magazines and it stayed locked back even after removing the magazine. After a dozen cycles going through the four magazines, it consistently locks back and stayed locked back after magazine removal except for one time. Cycling it a few more times, it seems like it is more likely to fail with the first two of the four magazines. Could be a combination of making sure the slide stop is fully seated/settled into the frame and/or individual magazine followers?

I've not shot the Kadet on a RAMI though. Best of luck with your RAMI/Kadet.
