I don't think it is steel.

He might of meant all metal.

It's aluminum. The frame steps up and is thicker above the grips where the slide stop and decocker are. Steel frames don't do this. Look at a standard compact.

The CZ 75 Compact in 40 S&W, now discontinued, had the step just like the alloy frames. It had a manual safety not a decocker. It also had a rail like the P-01 and P-06 which do have alloy frames.

I wish CZ would make an all-steel P-01 / P-06.
