CZ 75C CZ al grips
« on: September 05, 2014, 04:51:17 PM »

Do many use these? Are there way better choices?

#19099 @ $85, ALUMINUM GRIPS FOR 75 COMPACT/P-01/PCR/40P/P06,

Also considering the rubber CZ 75C and Hogue finger-grove grips.

I prefer VZ grips to the alum grips.  Each page rson has their own taste.

I have both the aluminum and VZ's on different pistols.
I like them both. They are both good, just different.
The VZ's (my opinion) have a better grip and feel but teh aluminum has a decent grip but looks nicer.

Pretty much new, not used much, owner did not like the "feel". Might get them for a better/lower price. Guess somethings like grips and holster are a personal matter.

After seeing some of the CZ aluminum grips at the LGS, I ordered a set of VZ grips.  Could not be happier with them.

I greatly prefer VZ grips ... I use tactical diamonds on all of my CZs except for my SP-01, which sports the more aggressive diamondbacks.

I love my friends compact aluminum grips and hated my VZ's. I would get the top of the grips pinching my hand because I ride up on the gun a fairly significant amount. The aluminums do not do that to me.
snakeye, no worries, I don't need someone in a leotard. :)

I use the thin aluminum on a 75 Shadow for the reduced grip size for my short strong hand trigger finger.  I use full coverage grip tape to get locked in tight.  They work well for me in competition--(steel match this morning).  I also like the way they look.

I have 3 pairs of the aluminum grips. I have small hands and they fit great. You can add grip tape til your heart is content.

I have a set of VZ Frags on my Compact and like them.  They offer a better grip than the slippery stock plastic and are noticeably thinner.

The idea of aluminum grips doesn't set right with me, as the idea of cool metal touching my side while carrying isn't appealing, and western WA can be wet, so aluminum and water makes me think slippery.  I realize the aluminum grips have grip tape, but haven't been able to try them yet.  They do make the VZs seem reasonably priced.
