Sight Options
« on: September 13, 2014, 09:40:25 PM »
What are the options for Pcr sights? The only one's I know of are the Meprolights, which are fine, but is there any other carry option that aren't night sights? I can't find this with a search, but I also can't believe this isn't listed somewhere - thanks.

Meprolights are the only option? That will sure simplify things...

If you don't mind the space in front of the sight. Any of the 75 style sight will fit.
We offer comp rear, tactical rear, FO rear, tritium rear, fo front, tritium front serrated front.

Stuart,

I'll look at them, thanks.

ETA: The tactical sets appear to be out of stock, but I'll watch for them.

Would be nice to have a tritium front, and a 'ledge' serrated rear - like Warren's or something.  That seems to be the latest trend, and looking at my son's Glock - not a bad way to go.

I prefer a fiber front but, man, I'd be down for 4 if they'd come out with something like the tactical rear with a pronounced ledge. For now I just blacked out the stock rear on my PCR and I run the tactical rear on my 75BDs. I have Meprolights on my SP-01 for now but I suspect that is temporary.

Does this CZ Custom CZ 75 Tactical Rear Standard Dovetail not have a ledge?:

.

If not, what is the definition of 'ledge'?

No, it is more like a Novak rear where it is ramped front to rear...

If not, what is the definition of 'ledge'?

Something with a 90 degree face... like the ICE CLAW for Glocks and M&Ps

or the excellent Jardine Hook for 1911s

The new CZ Custom P-09 rear has more of a ledge ... but I don't think there are any current plans to make them available for CZ 75s.

Aah -- a flat front face.  I was thinking a flat and extended rear face.

Thanks, sOnspark.
