I think you are talking about the CZ 75 Compact (Steel Frame) or Compact L (Alum frame, less common) , i believe they both have rails on there frames.

I am pretty sure there is no PCR available with a safety.  The holes in the frame for a safety and a decocker are different.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

The slide looks like a steel compact, but the frame on this has to be alloy(seller says all steel) as its thicker, and angled in the dust cover like the PCR. Not sure what this is...

Ill be bleeped, that dose look like a safety on a PCR frame. I do not see a hammer pin retaining pin ether.

I am guessing its some kind of transitional compact.  Give it a minute someone will solve this mystery.

First time i have seen one, thanks for the picture.

Good pick up on the retaining pin being missing!

I found this thread from a while back with a picture of another one (reply#19)

The poster is calling it "aluminum framed CZ75 Compact". From what i gather these were made around the year 2000 and in limited numbers or not many were imported to the U.S. I am not 100% sure on any of this.

Those animals do exist.  I had one but it was really worn out and I had to part with it.

I guess I shouldn't say worn out.  It had a lot of rounds down the barrel and I decided I didn't want to invest a bunch of money to upgrade it.

I couldn't agree with you more!  Especially if it is lacking the loaded chamber indicator that is present on the PCR.

No; it's WHY CZ should add a safety model to the line. It's not the operating system that is better it's buyer preference. If they made just a Safety model buyers would be looking for a Decocker.
