New P-01
« on: October 17, 2014, 09:37:50 AM »
Sold off my original 75B two years ago for a Glock 19, and while I do like Glocks, I always regretted getting rid of my CZ.  Last week sold the 19, yesterday picked up my new P-01!  All I can say is wow.  Forgot so soon how nice these pistols just feel overall.  I love the compact size of the P-01 and the rail is a nice touch.  Went back and forth with the PCR, glad with the decision I made though.  Was even more excited when I saw mine had the P-01 roll mark on the slide with the NATO code on the frame.  I had done a lot of reading as of late in regards to the roll mark inconsistencies, and the lack of the NSN code due to a spring change.  I pretty much got the pistol exactly how I wanted which is great.  Really debating on what new sights to go with.  Do not like the profile of the CZ tactical sight.  Really wanted something with a ledge.  I noticed on the SDP models they use a rear Henie sight, does that just fit the CZ dovetail, or was that milled special?

Glad you are enjoying you new P-01. It is a great pistol. Im not sure what the story is on the Henie sights with CZ's. I was under the impression that you had to have the dovetail recut. Yet on there website there is an ultra low mount (.500 X 65? Dovetail) option and CZ is listed.

Congrats! You're never going to want to let it out of your sight, much less your grasp [emoji16]

Now it's time to purchase the 75BD as your target pistol.
Enjoy.
