In order for the UK version to be legal (we can't have full-bore semi-autos here  :-\) it has to have an interupted cycle, so with this gun you pull the trigger, the gun fires, bolt opens, ejects the case and then locks open. To close the bolt and load the next round you have to pull the trigger again.

Ah, that explains it.  They've basically engineered your rifle to always manifest the "gremlin" where the striker doesn't get caught by the sear.  Curious how it catches when you charge though...

Black magic as far as i'm concerned!  O0 ;D

Managed to sort the problem out in the end by just grinding off the top 30% of an old 6mm allen key which gave enough clearance with the plate. Stock is rock solid now  8)
