Will standard 75 mags work in the SP-01 or does it take a special mag?

Picked up an extra 16 rounder and a "plus two" yesterday.  Sort of like the extended bases pad models.  Don't know if it is the extra capacity or the longer basepad......

Maybe I will change the 16 round metal pad to something else and see if I like that.

Anyone else just shoot the 16's with different bottoms?

I shoot the 16 rounders, but have Springer Precision basepads.  These basepads don't add any capacity, but they do add length.  It makes them about the same overall length as the 18 rounders.  And the look cool! :-)

I use the rubber base pads from CZC/Greg Cote on the 16 rd mags.  The metal pads eventually get really hard to remove/install if you drop your mags.
Beretta 92s rubber base pads also worked and were less expensive.,  but I don't see them on the site now---maybe just moved. :-\
