I went with a US made wood stock to help with 922r.  Fab Defense (via Mako) is still my favorite tactical style upgrade - but opinions will vary.  I'd keep looking and go with what makes you happy...

Please be more specific.  Rails, optic desires, folding stock / straight stock, 922R compliance (USA parts)?, etc.  Budget unlimited / cheap and chearful stuff, or are you joining the "I only paid $400 for the rifle, so why would I spend $nnn on XXX" squad?

The post above is opinion, and I am probably totally wrong, so please pardon me if I offend anyone in any way. I am speaking only for myself and just sharing my thoughts, not trying to start an argument with anyone, and if you disagree with anything I have said, I concede your correct.

Please be more useful in your reply. We all know how you're the expert and have used every brand every variation of vz accessories. Please enlighten us with a full issue report on everything you're keeping from us.  I'm sure we would like to know.

I like everything I've tried.
I have smaller hands so the original grip is good for me. But the mako is good and has a good feeling in the hand.
I also have a usa made extended hardwood grip that I really enjoy

I have used the CSA polymer and liked it.
NEA and bonesteel make good stuff.

I have no experience with the lower end furniture/rails

I have the folding stock and it's pretty terrible. I'm sure anything is better.

I went with adapter/buffer tube/ magpul ctr. It was a good set up. But I did not keep it.
I like the fixed stocks a lot. I have a surplus wooden one and beaver barf.

I had a CSA with s skeleton stock and it was a  super light option.

I'm still trying to get used to the last folder I have. I like the utility of the folder. But getting slapped in the face sucks

Meh, don't feel too bad CP -- threads like this I don't even both replying to.  I'm neither wikipedia nor google, so if folks can't search or read all of this type of beginner basics stuff covered in exhaustive back threads and stickies or otherwise show they're at least marginally self-sufficient...  Nobody's got time for that.
