Yes it does. Several years ago I purchased a new 83 and mentioned how I preferred the older rounded trigger guard over the squared one. A member, I'm sorry I don't remember his name, a guy from New Orleans, contacted me concerning a swap. His CZ 82 round guard for my CZ83 squared guard. Perfect fit and we were both very happy. Beautiful refinish on this 82. I redid a Israeli Police Trade-In High Power in hard chrome, the stuff is really tough.

Yes is does interchange.  Keep in mind that all the parts on my CZ82 other than the bare frame, and stripped bare slide are CZ83 parts.  For fun I did install the squared off guard from my other CZ83 and it fit right on and almost left it that way but decided to keep the 82 looking like a 82.  Oh I did replace the 83 main spring plunger with an original 82 that had the lanyard loop on it.

Great post.  I enjoyed going through the process.  I am tempted to refinish some of mine.  Does the price on the site include assembly and disassembly?

Very nice, definitely given me some thoughts on what to do with my 82.

Did you have all of the parts refinished?  If not, which ones?
