I was recently in the same boat as you. I had reservations about the omega because I had read that its trigger mechanism is not as robust as that of the standard B and that they have had issues. I spoke with David at CGW and he assured me that the issues are way overblown and that one of his guys at the shop has one with 40,000+ documented rounds fired, and no issues. So if that's a hesitation for you buying an omega, don't let it be, especially since CZ has introduced the Omega system on their poly pistols. That would indicate to me that CZ has ironed out the issues.
I ended up going with the standard B because I also have the 75 compact so they use the same parts. I like to stock spare parts for my guns, so 100% parts compatibility between two pistols makes things easier (and cheaper). The omega's parts are not 100% compatible with the standard B if that matters to you. Additionally, if you plan on buying a Kadet upper down the road, it will not work on the Omega frame without modification.
I'm not new to guns, but am new to CZ's so hopefully one of the resident experts will be along to tell you other differences between the two.
You posted this a while ago, have purchased one? Which did you get!?
