Plan on adding the half checker cocobolo grips and the matching matte SS mag base plate.  I will share pics after it is done.

So jealous right now....

Random question.... if you were a stickler about keeping the finish perfect.... which would you say is the most wear/nick resistant ?

Stainless matt ?

I love my matte stainless 75B.  I think I need to add one of those glossy blues to the collection.  That is also a gorgeous pistol!

I recently picked up a blued CZ75.  I think that I'm going to have to add a matte stainless as well.

The Matte stainless would be the most resistant cosmetically.  It will not show prints as easily.   Noobie75b,  it all depends on what you mean.  The polished stainless it difficult to keep shiny but because of the finish, you can easily polish off a nick.  Cant do that easily with blued or recreate the matte finish.

Case in point. My Polishes stainless came with tool marks on the slide release.  I polished down to match the rest of the pistol. See pics.     And now after some diamond files, 3000grit paper and polishing compound.

Nice job, great pics...

I completely agree with the better repair-ability of polished Stainless, a definite advantage over any coating or textured surface... I suppose what I was getting at was.... You having own the various finishes, which are you least worried about becoming damaged through normal use & handling... And to that, you answered my question....

Thanks!!

(glass half full)   The good thing about seeing the  fingerprints is that you would know where it needs a wipe down. !!  Seriously though. ..those few seconds right after you pull the shiny gun out and before you mess up the shine.   Priceless.

great collection... I'm personally torn between the polish vs matte stainless, lol.

Christophorous, get both.  I started with the Polished and then the Matte.  Just because i found a better deal on the Polished first.

That's the thing, prices fluctuate from time to time on CZs.  I got my polished SS for $636 from Buds 3 months ago. Now they're $687.

I have two gloss blued ones on the way myself, to go with the matte and polished SS models.  I shoot the matte the most as its not my favorite, doesn't bother me to show wear...lol

Now, we need to find the elusive brushed stainless model (91124).  ;)
