Bob, I use it for bullseye shooting, not steel or anything fast. I like it a bunch, have one on the Kadet as well as the P-09. I think finding the dot is harder than with a tube type like an Ultradot, but, once you get used to pointing the gun so that you can see the dot, it seems fine to me. An Ultradot or tube type is easier because you have the tube as a reference for line of sight.
I wasn't a big fan of red dots until I tried bullseye and then tried shooting a pistol at 100 and 200 yards. That will make a believer out of anyone. The Burris has been excellent so far.
