Hi All. several days ago,I posted a question about nite sites for SP-01. Well, when i got the gun,it was still in an oily plastic bag. I brought it home ,cleaned it,put it back in the box and waited for the next weekend to take it to the range. At the range, I looked down the barrel at three big white dots(sites). I thought nothing of it , since I'd owned pistols with 3 dot sites before. However I also own a P-01 w/nite sites and they are very nice(at least to my eyes). I finished at the range,came home,cleaned it and put it back in the box. I couldn't help but compare the nite sites on the P-01 to the 3 big dots on the SP-01.So I asked you guys at the forum about it. I got a few responses.(Thanks Walt).It was suggested that I may want to try painting the 3 big dots with flourescent paint.I t took me a couple of days to find the paint,but I found some.Now comes the funny part. Yesterday I was ready to paint those three big dots. So I took it out of the box and left it lay on my kitchen table while I got the paint ready.Well ,to my suprise (and I have to admit my embarrasment,)when I picked up the gun,I noticed a faint GLOW to those 3 big dots. As it turns out,the sites are marked Tru-Dot,and apparently are nite sites.I'll leave you to your laughter now. But in my defense,the box the thing came in said nothing about nite sites,and they look just like 3 big white dots. Maybe they just needed some daylight?
