VZ58 Beaver barf original stock adapted to fold.

Hey all I have a vz2008 and cant seem to get good cheek weld to use my micro red dot. I have seen alot of guys use pip insulator and things of that nature for this and I may very well go that route. How ever, I did see that some one like mated the fixed stock version with a folding stock online. I also saw that some one had a scar style folding stock on their vz. Those both look amazing and would be preferential to any other option. If any body has advice on this please help.

There is an adapter you can buy to convert the fixed stock to folding but it is over $100 from what I remember.

How did sandstorm or who ever that was combine the fixed and folder? it didn't look like he bought an adapter but combined the two. Probably milled out a slot for the steel "wire" stock and slipped in the fixed stock after measuring and cutting the fixed stock?

Word is (or was, anyway) that Manticore Arms is planning a poly piece that installs over the metal folder. ThIs poly piece would flesh out the stock for a more comfortable cheek weld etc.
