The SIG Brace Adapter is actually two piece, with the tube unscrewing from the block, allowing future accessories to be mounted, but WHAT I'm not sure, maybe cell phone holder to see down the sights and record your shooting? Perhaps a drink holder? Non alcoholic only, of course.
The adapter unscrews for a couple reasons. One so you can get the adapter on and off and secondly you can use any standard AR buffer and stock when applicable. The screw holes on the bottom are there to fit into the groove on a AR buffer so it locks down. I think you already know this though.
