I'm actually  really let down by CZ letting themselves be spooked like this.

Even IF there was a 922r issue,  they hold no liability selling the two as two separate items.
You are correct. The two issues are totally unrelated. HK, BT, any combloc country all make foreign weapons and also sell their stocks separately and other parts. As a matter of fact you can even buy CZ VZ 58 and 61 stocks and parts separately also.
So they are just giving us a line of BS as the airsoft guns licensed by CZ are the same externally, receivers, grip and stock as the firearms and if you want their stock will need to buy the air soft version. Licensed means they get $$$.

I don't think they are doing anything motivated by airsoft sales, I do however think they are kind being wusses about it though.

If this was an actualy real world concern, no company would sell AR pistol uppers for fear of being liable for the end user sticking it on a rifle lower without a form.

At some point the liability ends with the company and begins with the user.

If I put a widely available stock on my Glock, the ATF isn't going to go knocking on Glock's door.

I spoke the the LEO rep at CZ he said they are just unsure as to liability if the ATF suddenly do make an odd decision, and really you have to respect that how many are they actually going to sell against what they could loose, During our discussion I asked why they could sell the arm brace kit that you could fit an AR stock to and basically that decision was made elsewhere even before the stock question was asked.

Basically I get the impression that CZ want to sell the stock it make the gun look good and competes with the MP5 semi's but until they get a firm decision we will be waiting

Hello .. A new member here but I've had the Scorpion since January 17th 2015 and I filed the day I brought it home and my Form 1 stamp was approved today 3-2-15  it was E-filed.  Until I can obtain a CZ stock I'm running one of my M4 collapsible stocks using the CZ buffer tube adapter.

Think. Think about what an Administration we have right now. Think about giving them one inch inside the door. CYA is the name of the game right now. I don't blame CZ-USA one bit for being cautious.

That's why it's listed as the SIG Brace Adapter Kit, not the AR stock adapter kit. It's made for the SIG Brace only...because I recommended it back before they started importing them.
