OD Pic Request
« on: March 26, 2015, 02:57:23 AM »
Hey guys, shot in the dark here, but what the hell...

Is there any chance anyone has an OD green 75B (or P-01 or any model, really) with the green VZ frag grips? I want to know how similar the colors are, and if they go well together or not. Even if you don't have pictures, impressions would be fantastic. I get the feeling it would either look great or terrible, with no in between.

Thanks in advance  ;D

Believe it or not, white Crayon.  Warm up the slide with a hair dryer, vigorously rub the Crayon in and wipe off the excess.

It's pretty much worn out now but was like 'make-up' for the firearm's Sport's Illustrated Swimsuit photo shoot!

I've been thinking about trying the same thing with some white Testor's model paint but haven't gotten around to it.

Brownell's sells something similar in red, white, gold, and black: http://www.brownells.com/gunsmith-tools-supplies/general-gunsmith-tools/engraving-tools-supplies/inlay-color-fill-sticks/lacquer-stik--prod7778.aspx?psize=96

I bet the red would look fantastic, might have to try it out...I mean, for $5, why not?
