Joe's video is all you need to watch.  It details the detail strip perfectly.

That's in the Schmeky thread above. No videos that I have found. But the pictures are really all you need.

That video was extremely helpful. I got it apart and put the new disconnector and FPB lever in in about 15 minutes.

It then took me another hour and 45 minutes to get the bleep decocker spring back in place.  :-[

I finally flattened a nail and cut a v in it. After I did that the #(&%@)! thing went back in in two minutes.

Tip for installing the extended firing pin. First, don't lose the firing pin block spring. Then after finding it, the easiest way to hold the pin in place is to reassemble the gun and carefully lower the hammer all the way. That will hold the firing pin in place so you can drive the retaining pin through the groove in the pin with only two hands.

Yep, that little decocker spring is a bugger.  I think I made another video of how to do just that.  Good idea on the firing pin retainer, if you don't have a vise handy.

Joe - your videos absolutely rule.  I got so frustrated trying to get that decocker spring back on last night that I left everything on the workbench and went to bed.  Woke up today, watched your video, used your demonstrated technique and it worked on the first try.

Thank you.    8)
