I figured that was a custom part for that rifle. I just wanted to run it by you guys before I started making one myself.
If you have a table saw I think it would be pretty easy to mill out a channel of a 2x4 and sand one side for a nice smooth cheek weld?
Anyway, yeah. I'll probably try the foam insulation, does it let your stock close without putting stress on the folding pin? I'm mostly just looking for a firmer cheek weld, that lets me be more consistent with my red dot. With that UTG AK-47 butt pad and the czech muzzle break the recoil isn't bad at all, very comfortable actually, but because the red dot is up a little higher, I have to sort of hover above the wire stock...
