CZ 40P slide on 75B frame

Hi every one,

I posted this inquiry on 75B forum and one gentleman suggested to post on this sub-forum.

I have a CZ 75B in 9mm. I just purchased "CZ40P upper" (slide, barrel and spring complete) online and installed it on 75B frame. it comes with delrin bushing/buffer on the spring and guide rod.
It cycles smoothly without any issues. I put dummy rounds, cycle action and pull trigger. everything seems to be working normal except the safety does not engage. (40P slide does not have a safety notch on slide)

Please advise if there is anything i should be aware of before firing a life round.

Hi everyone,

There is no suggestion. Looks like I am GTG.
I am polishing the feed ramp and it looks very shiny like a mirror.
How about this.
I will be very careful by loading one round first with follow by one life and one snap cap.
Usually, I do not load more than five rounds at range.
Any comments?
I will be testing this on this weekend and post my results.

OP do you have any pics? If you could take a pic of the bottom of both slides with the rear of the slides lined up that would be helpful.

I am stumped at why your safety does not work with the 40 slide. Does it work properly with the 9mm slide?
