The norgon ambi catch (for ARs) is quite similar to the Bren mag catch on the left hand side of the weapon if you're looking to standardize your manual of arms across weapon systems...

Do the military/law enforcement guns have a roll pin that must be driven out? As it isn't an impingement gun I suspect it doesn't get dirty too quickly but, the roll pin method of retaining the carrier's guts seems less than ideal for say, I dunno, field use!? Maybe it doesn't require disassembly to  be cleaned satisfactorily?
