Shadow compact

Any chance of seeing a shadow compact in the USA soon??

I sure hope so. I don't want to buy a P01 unless I know for certain if a Shadow or even safety model would be available.

The safety model was sold here in two guises. One was the 75 Compact L (P01 with traditional CZ trigger and manual safety) the other was the CZ75 P-02 Omega (P01 with the Omega trigger system on the P-07/P-09). The Shadow compacts may not make it over mainly due to the lack of a firing pin block. To be imported, it need a certain amount of ATF "points". That is one of the reason why Glocks come with "serrated" triggers, not smooth faced, to satisfy the point criteria.

Using the ATF criteria, and the info from CZ-UB, it would be short 15 points to qualify. If they put target sights, grips and trigger, then it would be good to go.

The Shadow compact was in the U.S. in 2013.

I believe it had F/O, special grips, don't think the trigger was touched unless you paid CZC to do a trigger job.

That makes sense. They put target sights and grips on it. As for the trigger, it is the trigger part itself that would be seen as a target trigger. That is why Glocks come over with the serrated trigger rather than the smooth face trigger. That makes it a target trigger.
