converting safety model to decocker?

Can a model 97 with safety be converted to a decocker?  If so, is it difficult?

It is not a practical conversion. Someone may be able to do it, but buying a new 97BD is probably cheaper.

There was another thread about this a few months back- I believe the consensus was the frame/sear cage is just different enough that it cannot be done without some expensive smithing.

The entire sear cage assembly,hammer,and decocking lever would need to be purchased and then there is another hole in the frame on the decocking models that would need to be located/drilled and I'm not sure of any other framework that may need to happen so as has been said it would just be cheaper and easier to buy a CZ 97BD and move on from there.
