« on: January 03, 2016, 02:10:10 PM »
Hi!
Happy New Year, guys.

I'm looking for instruction video or at least pics of fixing a trigger for smoother and shorter pull.

Thx in advance

Contact forced march (sticky above for tabbing and other services).  He has two trigger mod options.  One you just send your fcg and the other he needs your full rifle.

Also see the latest posts on the gremlin thread.  See if you can talk him into adding a set screw like there and updating us on what that would cost.

Can not send. I'm from Europe.    :-[

Also been looking trough that gremlin thread, to much technical mumbo jumbo for me. Was hoping to get or find some simple tutorials, like "screw this, file that.."  so i can do it myself at home with my tools.

thx anyway :)

Grease trigger pin and sear pins; polish too if you want.  You can polish (very lightly) trigger pin holes, disconnector pin holes, and sear pin holes.

The primary points of interplay/friction on the trigger are disconnector to sear and striker to sear.  Definitely lubricate, but you can also polish these surfaces as well.

Lastly would be springs, trigger leaf springs and disconnector springs being only ones relevant here.  The lighter they become the more likely you are to introduce the gremlin if your carrier isn't tabbed, etc.

Anytime you mess with the trigger there's the potential to make your weapon unsafe, so do so conservatively and at your own risk.  And thoroughly test your weapon after any modifications with stuff like triggers before you put live ammo in the gun...

Good luck, let us know your results.

If it works i'm gonna post it.
