Tristar rear sight question.......
« on: December 06, 2015, 08:57:35 PM »
The notch on my Tristar rear seems narrow to me, or the front is wider than the standard CZ factory sight.  Anyone else noticed this?

I am thinking about doing some sight swapping, but want to either leave it with a factory setup or at most add a FO front.  Any recommendations?  I have tried he CGW EZD sights in the past and can not get used to the rear notch on the CGW sight.  I love the width, but the depth of the notch shows me the top of the slide and throws my sight picture off every time.......I know, I must be weird.....

Are the Tristar rears stamped with a number for height or is it trial and error?

On my Tristar C100 there was no number on the front or rear. I but Cz 75 ( not P01) sights from Meprolight on the C100 and it shoots point of aim to poi at 10 yards. The rear Tristar sight seems to almost get narrower at the top. They were great for precision but a little slow for sight acquisition. Have not tried the CGW.
