Another rear sight question
« on: December 22, 2015, 12:13:10 AM »
I have a CZ 75B omega, and want to change the rear sight (again). I've had the factory meprolights, but moved them to a C-100. The current rear sight is a TPU adjustable that I got a couple years ago. It works great, but the overhang is wearing me out.

So, I want a nice adjustable sight, preferably green FO (I really like Williams fire sights), that doesn't overhang the rear of the slide and get in the way of the hammer. Something like this, but FO if possible:

My plan is to have the top of the slide behind the dovetail milled down, so that it sits lower. With that said, can anyone point me to the proper sized Williams firesight or similar, that will work with the existing dovetail and a bit of milling?

I've got analysis paralysis and am numb from looking.

Let's try this....

Does anyone have a reference for rear dovetail dimensions for various guns? (The 75B is .384" x 70*  right?)

Maybe I can find a rear sight I like based on the dovetail dimensions+ a little milling.

Sorry, I don't have dimensions. I think your best bet would be to call CZ Custom and talk with them. They should be able to answer your questions and get you squared away.
