Tristar C-100 trigger shape
« on: December 09, 2015, 02:51:44 AM »
Picked up a new Tristar C-100. Swapped out the sights for the factory set of Meprolights that came on my 75B Omega, (spring kit on the way), and I love it. But... the recurve trigger is bothering me. For whatever reason, the one on my 75B is fine, but this one is digging into the tip of my finger.

It looks like the drop-in 85C trigger from CGW is also the new recurve shape...is there a flatter one available that doesn't extend the reach?

Or, can the trigger be heated and reshaped slightly? There is room in the travel to straighten it out a bit I think.

The 85 C trigger will work in your Canik.  You might want to wait a little because Dave at Cajun Gun Works has a new design trigger coming out that will sit back even futrher.

Thanks Brian. Do you know if either his current one and/or the new one has less curve than the one I have now?

Any ETA on when his new trigger will be available?

How difficult is it to heat up the trigger and straighten the tip a bit (i.e. is there a problem with brittleness)?
