Yes, I freely admit I missed reading that rule. My bad and I'm at fault for that and accept the consequences. It's a sound policy, especially on a firearms forum. It helps a little keep out the rifraff and scammers.
The one thing I'll say that is
every single other forum I've been on that has such a rule, the forum is developed properly and will automatically disallow you to post in the FS section until the requisite number of posts are made by the user. It will simply not create your thread and tell you that you don't have enough posts to create an ad in the FS section.
Perhaps implementing that here would save everybody a bit of headache. In my opinion, not implementing it is somewhat lazy forum building. I see a ton of FS ads being deleted. Why not automate it as described above?
