They look great man! Thicker grips on the 97 really dose make a difference.

Thank you for the pics.

I got a set of these off of ebay for a very good price.  I cut the bottoms off.  Until I got my grips from Dave, these were my favorite  97 grips.

What didn't you like about the "palm rest/bottom section" for lack of a better term?
For me, the bottom section of the grip adds greatly to the overall performance of the grip.

I'm an action shooter and it was just my preference to take the bottoms off.  I also very occasionally pack the 97 around and it is a bit slimmer with the bottoms of the grips removed.  For a pure range or BE gun, I could see leaving them unmolested.

I can certainly understand how the bottom portion of the grip could be an issue for carry.

After a longer than anticipated wait I have received and installed the new magazine bases plates and completed the grip decocker notch mod.
The gap created by the stock base plate made mag insertion with the off hand palm less than 100%.
Problem solved.

The 97 has never looked better. I like how to mod for the decocking lever turned out as well.  The mag bases are a nice touch.

Thank you for all the pics.

Tok36 and Twowheels,
Thank you for the kind words. The function and feel make the beauty even sweeter.

Tok36, You got me looking at the Black Master set for the 75 SPO1 Tac,  too.
I'm thinking next years trip to Germany should include a set of these....
