« on: December 22, 2015, 06:23:26 PM »
Just as the title says, I was wondering if it would work on my 75B frame.

Any helps would be greatly appreciated!

I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't.

Can't remember for sure. I sold my 75B when I got my SP01. But I believe I played around and put it on my 75 frame.

Tried my 75B slide on my SP01 frame, it would have required some metal removal to function smoothly, so I stopped there.  I figured if it was too tight that way, it would be too loose the other, but I never tried and you know what happens when you assume things.

Might be a "depends on the individual guns" kinda thing.

The 75 shadow uses pretty much the SP-01 upper just without the firing pin block on a 75SAO lower.

Now the 75b and the sp-01 use different sear cages which could cause some interface with the slide but that can be fitted.

If it doesn't fit, most of the time its tthehe slide hitting the ejector housing.
some fitting or changing parts will help.

Once I tried my SP-01 Shadow upper on my 75B Stainless frame and it worked fine. I even shot it that way. Bear in mind mine are both European original factory guns bought in Europe. Something from CZcustom might have some differences . I do not know.

All ll I had to do is remove the Firing-pin-Block lifter from the 75B frame ( as the Shadow does not have an FPB ). You can do this by buying the washer from CZcustom or cutting up something yourself .  It is just a spacer to fill in the blank. Does not see any heavy wear.

The other way round will not work ( Shadow frame and 75B slide ) because the Shadow hammer is wider than the standard 75B rear  slot , also it will look ridiculous on the Shadow full rail.

This is the standard Shadow,

The Frankenstein version.

All went back to the originals. This was just an experiment. But it worked fine. I also tried it after modding the 75B frame to SA only and worked fine as well.
