What do you call the stock P-01 sights?
« on: December 22, 2015, 08:33:21 PM »
I think I really like them as I get back into shooting this thing ( I have been been shooting both my P-07 and 09 all the time).  The stock sights on my p-01 are smaller and there is less tolerance in the sight picture to move around the front dot, which I find is more precise than my big night sights on the P series pistols.  I know they are 3 dots, but is there a specific name for those that come from the factory?  Thanks.

This isn't what you are looking for, but I call them "Young Man's Sights"
I can see where they are tight as far as side to side on the front sight in the back, but they are not my favorite.
That is only because of my eyes, not the sights.

I always call them the "Three Dot Factory Sights".

Roger that, I understand they are factory 3 dots.  It just seems they are narrower and tighter than normal factory 3 dots and I thought, like most things around here, there was some special name that I was not aware of.  I will heretofore refer to them as factory 3 dots.  Thank you for the clarification!
