Do you prefer the gen1 or gen2 trigger face?

Looking for opinions from people who have experience with both.

I have the gen1 trigger. I'm interested in trying the gen2. Joe mentioned in one of his videos that his finger would drag on the trigger guard with the gen2 trigger. I usually prefer a flat vertical trigger face but the travel on the 07/09 is far enough that the gen2 trigger goes past vertical.

Thoughts, opinions, what say you?

I have a DUTY P07 in .40 S&W, with the rounded trigger and I like it fine.

I bought a P09 in 9MM next.  The new style trigger isn't an issue and I don't really notice it feeling any different for me.

I bought a P09 in .40 S&W next and the new style trigger bit the snot out of my trigger finger.  It was just uncomfortable to shoot after a couple magazines.  I bought an old DUTY style rounded hammer and put in it and now I have no trigger bite issues with that gun.

Might just be me, but if it's painful to shoot it - why shoot it?  Do what you have to in order to make the gun fit you, after all, it's yours.

I prefer the feel of the curved trigger.......but my my group size says the flat face wins. It also works better with gloves, which I will be wearing when the Zombies come. Just my 2 pennies.

For long shooting sessions and accuracy, I like the flatter trigger. The bottom of my trigger finger gets tender with my Duty P07.

FWIW, the DA on my Duty is silky smooth. Makes the first shot a joy.

Same with mine, and it feels lighter than the 8.5-8.75# listed on the trigger gauge.

 
Back to the original subject matter, between the two, I prefer the original curved trigger, as the slight "bend" in the current flat face design is bothersome to me. I would love to have the old CZ 100 style trigger on it, as to me it has a perfect blend of shape between both styles.
