Decocker all the way on P-07. Those who don't own a P-07/09 don't know what they are talking about. The Safety is unreliable and will break sooner or later.

Decocker is reliable and works every time. And why do you think you need a safety on a gun that has a striker block--only the ignorant would want such an impediment.

My first handgun was a revolver and since then, most of my pistols are striker-fired without safeties. Part of my reasoning is that I'm left-handed and many handguns don't have ambidextrous safeties. So when I recently decided to get my first CZ I got a P-01 and I chose it because it has a decocker.

Well I guess I'm fortunate to have not bought a gun so shoddily made that parts regularly break!  Is the omega system for the newer steel guns also a POS?  Guess that explains why they cost less...

In the past I might have said safety but I'll go with the decocker now.  The simplicity of not having to worry about flipping any safety off is worth it.

Tyrone: There's nothing wrong with the Omega trigger.

But the safety lever, detent and spring safety system just don't have the sturdiness of the decocker. perhaps they were added as an afterthought to the design in effort to appeal to folks who love the 1911 and want to carry cocked and locked.

I run the decocker on my P-09 and my two other CZ's are decocker models.

I prefer the decocker on my P-07. My 75B Omega does not have the decocker, but that's ok as I don't carry the 75B. My 75B is strictly a pleasure gun, range gun.

Decocker for me. I prefer it, but then again, I shot IDPA for the past few years with a wheelgun.
