CIP N markings on P-01 slide
« on: January 08, 2016, 10:18:18 AM »
Just picked up my second P-01 and it has CIP N markings on the slide. When did CZ start this?

I imagine it's because the gun was made in the EU and not the US, then imported. It's a requirement in the European Union. CIP N is the standardized proofing method used. You should find the actual proofing house mark somewhere on the pistol too.

Yep, I used search function but couldn't find anything. Googled and found an old thread from March about it. You can delete this one it you want. Thanks grendal
