Vintage Czech delight.... vz. 27
« on: January 27, 2016, 06:09:24 PM »
Hele! To je bomba! The vz. 27 (think it's early WW2 production under occupation) shoots true to center of mass out to at least 40'. The big issue (in addition to using progressive lenses) is finding the puny sights on a black target background. Had to acquire the sights first on the white portion and then drift it onto the black bullseye at 40'. You need to be accurate with this pistol as after the 8-round magazine dump, it's going to take five minutes to pry the magazine out and reload [emoji1]

Been there, done that.  I ended up switching to a white spot on a black field.  I also use a pinhole attachment for my glasses when shooting now.

Peace favor your sword,
