Tristar C-100 recoil (heavier spring?)
« on: February 26, 2016, 03:44:01 PM »
Can someone point me to a heavier recoil spring for a Tristar C-100? I love the gun, but want to try and tame it's snappiness just a bit.

If the same place also sells a heavier recoil spring for a CZ 83, that would be a bonus (same deal).

Wolf has the CZ 83 recoil kit.

Will there #13131 kit for 75 B compacts work in the C-100? I assume so.

18-20-22 pound springs....  Which one you think will work best?   I have never changed to a non OEM pound spring in a pistol.  I only shoot 124 gr hollow points Freedommunitions for range and  Federal HST 124gr Hollow point when carried for SD.  Really does not seem to be much recoil shooting these...well compared to other 9mm pistols I have.

I got springs from CGW.  Not to go with stronger, but to even out the DA pull.  There are several options and he is very helpful.  Ask him about options for you and he will do his best to help you.
