can wonderfinish be engraved?

Anyone have any experience with getting a witness pistol with wonderfinish engraved? If so did it have to be refinished afterwards or is it not necessary? I would prefer to not have to refinish it afterwards if possible. Thanks for your input once again.

The "Wonder Finish" is a silver grey Tennifer surface hardening treatment, as is done with the Glock Pistols, as well as others.  Once engraved, you'll need to protect the lower surfaces of the engraving.  I would fill it in with Black Fingernail Polish.

I also have a bluing pen for touching stuff up. Wonder if this would work for the engraved surface. Also wonder how it would react if some were to get on the actual finish? Also wondering how you seem to know the answer for every question I ask lol

the bluing compound shouldn't react to the finish so you should be able to wipe it off the finish once you've applied it to the engraving.  None of this in necessary if the surface you're engraving is stainless steel underneath.
