First shots out of Urban Grey SR P09
« on: June 23, 2016, 10:17:29 AM »
Took the new P09 to the range today and ran about 100 round through it. It shoots low left for me at about 10 yards. The suppressor height sights were not that big of a deal to transition to but they are definitely not target sights. I caught myself loosing the front sight and mixing the front dot up with the rear dots. I might cover up the rear dots with something.

Now the P09 compared to my Shadow Custom. The P09 is like your mistress. Didn't spend near the amount of money on her but she treats you well :) it was a good experience and it feels like the recoil is softer with it. Shooting it next to the shadow I felt like that shadow was more snappy but it was faster.

Overall if looking for a range/game gun I would go with the P09. Spend the extra money on mags and ammo.

I'm hearing a lot of people saying it feels softer. I wonder what causes that?

I have no idea. This was also completely stock. So I'm wondering when I put a steel guide rod and a light spring.

Check your barrel lock up when using a lighter than stock recoil spring in the P-09. You may not get solid barrel lockup with a lighter than stock spring.
