Not "sloppy" but often "gritty" at first, although after a few hundreds snaps (rounds or snap-caps) they smooth out quite a bit.
I'm not a competition shooter either, and really like the factory triggers on all my CZs, including my CZ97BD. So my advice is to shoot 500 rounds and then re-evaluate; my guess is that you'll be happy as a clam by then.
FWIW, it is impossible to beat CZs in quality and reliability -- they are tanks and garbage disposals that eat pretty much anything without a hiccup. As Hickcock45 says "CZ doesn't make junk."
Hi i am new on this site & glad i found it! I had 3 choices 45s Sig P220,P227 & CZ97BD and decided on the CZ.Now the confusing part out of the box i hear the CZ S & D triggers are a little sloppy.I am not into any competition shooting just would like the quality & reliability . Should i buy a new CZ97BD and shoot for a while then upgrade at a latter date or just order a CZ97BD-E?
