"P-07 non-duty"?
« on: April 02, 2016, 10:32:12 PM »
I was reading the post "Very Strange Problem" and have a question: what is a "P-07 non-duty"?
If you don't have time to do it right, where will you find the time to do it over?

The "Duty" model is an older generation of the P-07 and P-09.

The improvements of the newest "non Duty" modrls include a dehorned frame, better all metal sights, a different contoured trigger,  etc.

At many guns shops you will see the gen 2 p07 still marked as the duty model.

The P-07 'DUTY' was CZ's 'first' version and can easily be identified (pic)...
First, it says 'DUTY' on the front/muzzle-end of the slide... it has a different trigger contour... different sights...
more curved/sharp beaver-tail... round/Commander hammer vs 'squared'... honed/smoothed edges.
Also, the CZ model# for the DUTY is #91187... newest Gen-2 version #91086...
Hope this helps for an 'immediate' ID.
