Just a new proof marking methodology (adding CIP/N) in effect from 2015. http://www.cip-bobp.org/home Enjoy that souped up PCR!
Other CIP country member manufacturers (eg. HK) have also started adding it on their firearms.

That's the proof mark (N for "nitro" aka "smokeless" powder)

My PCR is 2013 model, Compact is 2014, and they do not have that mark.
Does it mean that production process has been changed anyhow in 2016, and now 75 Compacts come with any deferent/improved coating?

I believe they made a change in the proofing only, no changes in the manufacturing.
