I picked up a new digital pull scale and vertically mounted these handguns in a vise to get some trigger pull readings. All readings are in single action only, and I averaged the 3+ readings from each pistol. All handguns are factory stock.

CZ75b matte stainless.......5.3

Tristar/Canik L-120...........5.3
Tristar/Canik C-100...........5.8
Tristar/Canik P-100...........5.5

Good info.

I saw a stainless 75 at the gun show yesterday.  I walked past it a couple of times but refrained from picking it up (you know, for fear it would latch on to my hand and not let go) because I'm holding out for a P01 with the same trigger/safety set up as my P07/P09 guns.

It sure was pretty though.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Did the scale not weigh high enough to get an accurate DA reading?
That was the problem I had when weighing triggers to benchmark Upgrades.

It does, but I rarely fire in DA and wasn't interested in that number.

I checked my SA trigger pulls on my 2 CZs and my 1 Tristar with my trigger pull scale. I got some different reading, but my gauge is a cheapy and it's not always consistent. I was getting some 3.75 lbs. reading on my SP-01, but not consistently. I guess you get what you pay for. All my guns are 100% stock. Here are my results.

CZ P-09.........  3.25 lbs.
CZ SP-01.......  4 lbs.
Tristar T-120....4.25 lbs.

Here is a picture of my trigger pull scale and 2 pictures of how I was set up to test my pistols.
