Extractors for P-01 vs P-06 -- same or different?
« on: June 23, 2016, 06:51:03 AM »
Are the extractors on the P-01 and the P-06 the same part, or are they different?  I notice that some websites list a single extractor for both these guns (as well as for all other 75 full size and compact guns), while other sites have a separate listing for "9mm" pistols vs ".40 cal" pistols, each with a different part number.  I also see some mention of a "new" version of the extractor, so I'm wondering if this has something to do with the listing differences (i.e. that perhaps they used to use the same extractor, but now they don't.)

Thanks for clarification on this,

Larry

Welcome to the Forum! My P01 Armorer's manual list the extractor as a '9mm extractor'...
So I would think they are different. A call to CZ USA should confirm.

You could also go to the CZUSA website and look up the part for each gun and confirm p/n's.

According to the person I spoke with at CZ, there are technically two different versions for 40 vs 9mm, but they are similar enough that some people use them interchangeably.  He also said that the design has changed slightly over the years, so any two could still look different even if they were both technically for the same caliber.

Thanks,

Larry
