Firearm industry growth.

I guess President Obama did help create new jobs.

Gun Industry Thanks Obama for Eight Years of Unprecedented Sustained Growth
GUNPROPLUS.COM July 26, 2016 - If you owned stock in Smith & Wesson, Ruger, Vista and any of the other companies involved in production and distribution of guns, ammunition and related products, you can thank President Barack Obama for his unintended support of record sales.  With a 73% gain in jobs, 123% increase in wages that resulted in a 158% increase in economic impact, all during the Obama years in the White House, the country's firearms industry may be sorry to see our 44th president go.

COMMENTARY:  Waving a Sad Goodbye To Our 44th President
While we aren't quite there yet, January 20, 2017 will see the departure of Barack Obama as President of the United States. He arrived in 2008 with good intentions but it didn't take long before some of them turned sour and he began attacking the freedom of gun owners and demanded that Congress enact such gun control measures as universal background checks, claiming that such checks that were instituted during the Reagan years - and supported by the NRA - were insufficient. As the years piled up and events caused him to call again and again for Congress to act, every time he did that, gun sales for semi-auto pistols and rifles surged, setting records along the way.

I know this is 'firearm related' but the chances of it remaining so are less than 1 in a 1000 - it will rapidly degenerate into a political thread, and we don't do those here.

Anyway, it's not accurate - he never had 'good intentions', ever.  ;)
