Pristine CZ82

I recently picked up a very nice 1987-made CZ82 (SN 0665XX).  I paid much more than I normally would for a CZ82 but I could not resist since it was in near perfect condition and has no import markings. It is a nice companion for my two CZ83s (in .32 and .380 ACP).

I wonder if it was brought to the U.S. by a member of the armed forces in Germany.  That is how my pre-B CZ75 and .380 ACP CZ83 got here.  I brought them back when I returned to the U.S. after seven years in Germany using an ATF From 6.

Nice!  I have an '86 that has no import markings, also.  Would love to know some history on it.  Serial number on mine is 95xx.

Very nice! I also have a "Mint" one after yrs. of searching at gunshows back in 2006 but has small Import Marks, these have beenvery  hard to find and in Mint Impossible, but Century has been refinishing many for yrs. without telling anybody and those have White Primer under the black paint.

Also on a bunch they replaced to barrels to non polygonal ones, so any prospective buyers do have to be extremely careful!

Also got some mint shoulder holsters for it and mag pouches as well as the pouch holster and then the police holster and pouch and not to forget the military flap holster which strangely had no extra mag pouch on it!

Almost forgot about 5 more mags of which 4 have the thick aluminum base!

Am guessing you checked the narrow lip on the bottom edge of the slide? That's where the importer discreetly stamped the three CZ-82's I bought back seven years ago from Classic Arms that were also produced in 1987. All three were exceptionally clean.

I looked everywhere (and so have other folks).  Nothing.  I'll be shooting it for the first time this Friday (took a day of leave from work).

I'm pleased since I have searching for a nice one for some time. I took leave tomorrow so I can bring it to my local gun club and run some rounds through it.  I'm curious how it feels compared to my CZ83s (particularly the .380 ACP version). I'm guessing it will feel about the same as the .380 ACP CZ83.
