I don't have your specific model and it's been awhile since I pulled the action on my 550 FS, but I don't recall the action being attached to the lower bottom metal or the magazine housing. I attached a link to the PDF manual with a parts diagram. Wish I could be of more assistance. Good luck with you issue.

If someone glass bedded the action it may be super tight, I have a sporterized 98k Mauser like that. Or someone didn't use enough mold release.

Take the action screws out and hit the stock against a table or floor, bench, etc. make sure it is padded. If it is just really tight it should come out, if not you can break the stock and not be better off.
