My new 97b cajunized
« on: July 08, 2016, 12:07:35 AM »
Well finely got to the range with my new 97b worked over by CGW. thank you Dave and crew you guys do beautiful work as most of you
guys already know. Sent the slide off to Dave and had the bushing done and new rear sight.  This is just a fun range gun so I made it SAO.
While the slide was at CGW I installed a new Race hammer Kit, single action flat trigger, Reduced power trigger spring, floating trigger pin.
Polished up what needed it. The trigger is almost as nice as my 75 TS I'm sure if I had Dave do the work it would have been better.

All springs and firing pin are stock, but the trigger and sear spring. I was using 200gr. swc  4.1gr. T.G. standing two hand at 12yds. my eyes
are not working all that great at 69.  Like to thank CGW again for a great job. I my move this rear sight to my 75 TS and get a red dot !!!!![

That's a good looking pistol. I have a feeling I'll be sending my BD off for an "E" conversion in the near future. I want to run a hundred or so rounds through it first to determine exactly how I'd like the trigger set up.

I recently received my 97BE from Dave and I just wanted to confirm that the SAO trigger is better than the TS I have. Dave measured it at 3 lbs and the break is perfectly crisp best I've ever felt it feels lighter than the TS but I would doubt that it is. The TS has that little bit of creep that I don't feel while shooting but I'm still considering sending it to be Cajunized after the season.

I had to register so I could testify how much I think of Cajun Guns Works and that this is the forum that convinced me to go for it.
