Calling it a "battle trigger" is a compliment to the Scorpion. It has a mile of creep, squishy break, and it's stiff as hell. I have HBI springs on the way - we'll see if that brings it up to a satisfactory level.
You're correct, my CZ527, CZ550 Varmint, ARs with CNC triggers and my Howas with Timney triggers are all complete junk. All of my Briley customized O/U shotguns are horrible too.
My Scorpion has trigger very similar to the M16A1 and A2 I carried and shot for all of my time in the Army. I never had trouble hitting what I aimed at with those rifles.
That makes your comment about the trigger being fine even more confusing. Either way, lighten up.
There are good triggers and bad triggers, and a whole spectrum in between. The Scorpion's is on the lower end of that spectrum. It's absolutely usable, sure, not arguing that. Mine is far far worse than my bone-stock AR triggers, but if it's good enough for you, then great! Have fun.
